The 2012 Scottish Society for Crop Research Annual Lecture will be given by Mr Michael Hamell, Head of Unit, Agriculture, Forests and Soil, Environment Directorate-General, European Commission.
The Scottish Society for Crop Research and Bulrush Horticulture Limited will host a joint Soft Fruit Winter Meeting and Information Day in the Landmark Hotel, Dundee on 15 February 2012.
The SSCR Annual Lecture will be delivered by high-profile speaker Michael Hamell, Head of the Unit for Agriculture, Forest and Soil at the Directorate General for Environment of the European Commis

Combinable and Energy Crops
Many facets of the cereal and oilseed rape industry are represented including growers, advisers, agronomists and members of the malting and distilling industries.
Potatoes
Representing a significant proportion of the Scottish industry, with members from the agronomy, seed and pre-packing sectors, as well as seed and ware growers.
Soft Fruit
Much of the UK’s soft–fruit industry
is represented on the committee, with members drawn from the country’s production, advisory and retail sectors.
